Prise en charge et traitement des rougeurs oculaires dans le cadre des soins primaires
Résumé
Dans le cadre des soins primaires, les patients se plaignent fréquemment de rougeurs oculaires, qui ont une multitude de causes et d’implications. Certaines étiologies sont bénignes et disparaissent d’elles-mêmes, tandis que d’autres affectent la vue et nécessitent d’adresser le patient en urgence à un ophtalmologue. Il est donc important que les médecins de première ligne soient en mesure d’effectuer un examen oculaire minutieux, de reconnaître les signes et les symptômes des différents types de rougeurs oculaires, de commencer une prise en charge et un traitement appropriés, et d’adresser le patient à un ophtalmologue si nécessaire.
